Current Facilities and User Details

Bedrooms
The Coweeta Residence can accommodate up to 20 people in five four-person bedroom arrangements (See floor plan). The twin-size beds in each room have a pillow and blanket provided. Users can bring their own pillow cases and sheets or use the pillow cases and sheets available in the supply closet. However, users are required to wash, dry, fold, and return the sheets and pillow cases to the supply closets. Each bedroom also has a desk and computer with internet connections to a T-1 internet line provided.  Additional internet ports are provided in each bedroom for users bringing laptop computers. Details for the process of connecting to the internet are provided in each kitchen.

Kitchens
The Coweeta Residence has two kitchens that seat 12 people each and include complete food preparation areas, appliances, and utensils. Additional refrigerator and freezer space are available in the utility area on each end of the building. Each utility area also includes a clothes washer and dryer.

Restrooms
There is one women's and one men's handicap accessible restroom on the main floor of the building. User's need to provide their own towels and toiletries. There is also a half restroom (no shower) located in the lower level of the building.

The Callahan Room
The social room in the lower level of the building is named in honor of Dr. Tom Callahan. Currently, a television (no satellite connection to the outside world) with DVD and VCR are provided along with a few tables and chairs. There is also a desk, computer, internet connection, and additional internet ports provided. Outside of The Callahan Room is a cement patio with a picnic table that provides additional relaxation area.
