Center and Weather Station 1 Camera
This camera is mounted in the administrative area at Coweeta Hydrologic
Laboratory near Otto, Noth Carolina, USA. Viewers generally use the camera
to determine weather conditions at low elevations at Coweeta to schedule
field research and to observe general plant phenology conditions at low
elevations.

Camera Image and Control
This camera is looking out from the Coweeta Conference Center and is
mounted at 685 m above sea level (2249 feet above sea level). The camera
is focused on the main Coweeta climate station #1 and on the Coweeta
Residence building. This camera is fixed in place and is not user
controllable.
Camera Internet Connection and Power Source
This camera is hard-wired to the Coweeta internal local area computer
network and is powered by 110 volt AC power in the Coweeta Conference
Center. Because of these connections, the camera is generally available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. In the event of electrical outages or
disruptions to the internet service at Coweeta, the camera will be
offline. Of course, during the night there will be complete darkness on
the camera image or only occasional cryptic images when lights from the
Coweeta Residence or from an occasional passing vehicle are in the camera
field of view.
