The majority of data provided by Coweeta is dynamically served through a database-driven MYSQL/PHP internet site that was constructed from the ground up in late 2002 through 2003.  Coweeta LTER's website now comprises over 70,000 files and millions of lines of data located in 4400 directories.

Historic County Boundaries for the southern Appalachians: 1790-1999
Coweeta LTER offers county boundary files for the southern Appalachians on a decadal basis ranging from 1790 to 1999. Files are provided in ArcView .shp (Shape) format, and are available in lat/lon and Universal Transverse Mercator.  UTM projections are NAD83, Zone 17 North.
