Introduction
The following guide is directed to internal protocol for the efficient addition of information to the Coweeta LTER website, and is a process guide for Coweeta personnel.

One of the primary goals of the LTER Network is to promote synthesis and comparative research across sites and ecosystems among other related national and international research programs.  Research nationwide and internationally is comprised of fieldwork in a diverse range of ecosystems.  Today, the primary means for exchanging information is via the Internet.  Coweeta LTER's web site provides a means for making research available to researchers and to the public.

Following are guidelines for submitting data, metadata, and publications to Coweeta LTER Information Management, the organization responsible for warehousing and presenting the face of Coweeta LTER across the internet.
