Unimproved woodland - 1950
Land in farms classified as unimproved woodland includes all woodland which was not used for pasture or grazing in 1949. Unusually large tracts of timber land reported as “woodland not pastured” were excluded from the tabulations when it was evident that such land was held primarily for nonagricultural purposes.
